Toothbrush Holders
In a family, a unique challenge exists. If seven toothbrushes are placed in a single store-bought holder, they will eventually touch each other. That means an exchange of germs. A solution is individual holders. I was about to buy sleek holders for over $30 when I realized I had the polymer clay and spray seal on hand to make these for $0!!! I let each child make their own, so we learned a new skill and they are each so unique!
Follow instructions for your polymer or air-dry clay. We baked ours in the oven at 275 for 15 minutes per 1/4-inch thickness. They turned out really well, just keep in mind not to make it too thick, or top-heavy.
Bathroom Organizer
Then, allowing space for each person's toothbrush, these wood-and-metal shelves made use of empty wall space to clear the bathroom counter. Ahhhhhh...
These arrived in an unfinished state. I applied multiple coats of sealant to the wood, anticipating exposure to liquids and wishing to preserve the wood's natural beauty without stains.
