THIS is a Nursing Dress?!
Indeed this is a nursing dress! Last year, I came across a wonderful clothing brand that specializes in creating nursing dresses for breastfeeding women. Not just any nursing dresses, but exquisite, comfortable and super-stylish dresses! When my dress arrived in the mail it felt like a dream! First, it was packed like a gift my mom might send me. Moreover, the dress, with its puffed sleeves, pure cotton fabric and lining, ample pockets, and the fullness of the skirt, is delightful to wear. It's very generous in fabric! And what's the nursing-friendly feature? Hidden zippers along the bust seams. In the photo at the right I am nursing, believe it or not. These are high-quality and so feminine. My dress is something I will be wearing when I am pregnant, nursing, and not. And I will pass it on to them when they are older.
My VERY Favorite Cookbook!
Look at all of my tabs sticking out of the sides! I use almost all of the wonderful recipes and the book is full of valuable information. This is a homestead companion, from recipes to use sourdough discard, to the pros and cons of milk from goats vs cows, to all the details of chicken-keeping and how to garden when you don't actually own land. I regularly use the bread recipe that actually WORKS for sandwiches, the yogurt and bacon-in-a-bag recipes. Jill Winger shares her tricks for hashbrowns that are perfectly crispy, how to peel FRESH hardboiled eggs, as well as how to make pickles when you only have one or two plants. There is a great resource section in the back too!
This is a must-have for all would-be homesteaders!
